Dinner-table questions
- How many people did Jesus call to follow Him in Mark 3? How many follow Him today?
Jesus chose 12 disciples to begin with. Now there are millions of people who follow Him. - Why did Jesus chose these 12? What was so special about them?
There was nothing special about them! They were all very different to each other. - What did Jesus ask them to do while following Him?
He told them to preach, cast out demons and to be with Him.
Family Activity: Follow me!
One person is the leader (Jesus) and says “Follow me and …”. Everyone else has to do what they say straight away. Switch around the leader after a few turns.
When Jesus called His disciples they followed Him, obeying what He said to do.
