Community Groups

Community Groups are central to the life and mission of City Church. It is where ordinary people work out what it means to be follow of Jesus, care for one another, and love our city. Evenings vary between Bible study, prayer nights and shared meals. We have groups scattered throughout the city in Santy, Castleknock and Dundrum. For details about times and locations please drop by City Church on a Sunday morning or by completing this form.

Women

As women of City Church we encourage each other to meet 1 to 1 and in small groups to study God’s word and pray together as we go through the complexities of life. We have a women’s book group who meet on zoom every few weeks to discuss a Christian book. We also have monthly prayer evenings within our community groups where we can pray and encourage one another. If you’d like to meet with someone to study the Bible or you’d just love to chat click below to connect.

Men

As men of City Church we encourage one another through 1 to 1’s and through our men’s book group. 1 to 1’s are designed to help us to grow in care for one another and our love for Jesus. We desire to build genuine and encouraging discipleship relationships that seek to spur one another on to live our lives more and more in light of the gospel. Our men’s book group meets on a monthly basis considering a Christian book together and how it might help us better glorify Jesus in our lives. If you’d like more information or to get connected with a 1 to 1 or the book group click below.

Students

City Church Dublin has always been a thriving community for students. Our passion is to see students engaged with the gospel, maturing in the faith and mobilised to live as followers of Jesus on campus. Located in the city centre we are a natural hub for people traveling whether by bike or public transport.

Youth

Citizens is a youth group for young people in secondary school and the latter years of primary school. It's purpose is to encourage these young people to live as Citizens of God's Kingdom - through Bible study and a range of interactive activities, we hope each meeting is an opportunity for them to build meaningful friendships with each other and to come to know and love God more, whether they are already part of a church community or invited by friends. Citizens is led by leaders who are Garda-vetted and trained in child protection and who are active in various Irish Church Missions churches.

Kids

At City we take the care and spiritual formation of young people seriously. Our Children's ministry team leader (Philippa) holds a degree in “Theology for youth and children” and all of our volunteers are Garda vetted and trained in child protection procedures (to read our Safeguarding Statement click here).

Our Children and youth ministries are developing areas of our corporate life and they continue to grow as the church does, but our commitment remains the same, to see young lives nurtured in the faith and transformed by the good news of Jesus.

City Kids is available during our 10am service only for 2 - 7 year olds.
