THE VISION
Help a growing church acquire a premises in Dublin in order to establish a long term center for gospel ministry and church planting.THE CONTEXT
The city of Dublin is the capital of the least-reached English-speaking country in the world. City Church Dublin was established by 10 people 10 years ago and over that time has grown to approximately 170 adults on a Sunday morning. Over that time City Church has provided a vibrant spiritual community for the believer and the sceptic and now seeks to establish itself as a city centre hub for evangelism, discipleship and church planting in Dublin and beyond. Recently the Methodist Church of Ireland decided to sell their city centre premises at 9 Abbey Street and City Church Dublin has been successful in bidding to preserve and expand this building’s legacy.
THE VISION
City Church’s vision is to Love God, Love People and Love Dublin. Abbey Street will allow us the space to grow as a church and to impact the city with the good news of Jesus. From this space we hope to collaborate with other churches and ministry partners for the good of the city and the maturing of his church.

THE LOCATION
9 Abbey Street sits just yards away from Dublin’s iconic O’Connell street, and across the river from Trinity College Dublin. This historic building has a large auditorium on the ground floor and a similar sized hall on the 2nd level. THE NEED
We have secured a significant degree of funding in a comparatively short period of time and we are confident that we can meet the financial requirements of this project.

CURRENT PLDGES AND DONATIONS: 1.8M
GAP: 1.45M
WAYS TO GIVE
A capital donation.
A pledged donation given over 3 to 5 years.
A venture debt facility which underwrites current pledges to be repaid over an agreed period of time. (We are able to demonstrate the viability of these pledges)
A part loan/part gift with the option to defer the loan for an agreed period of time.
